What Create In Clay is all about :
We are a Non-profit school dedicated to teaching ceramics. We are a skilled group of artists that LOVE to teach and enjoy the ceramic arts. We bring thought and creativity to the table to help our students become the artists we know they can be.
Myth – I am not creative.
Truth – We can bring the creative side out of you no matter how deeply buried. Come give us a try.
What we offer :
Parties – You can have a Ceramics party for up to 20 of you and your friends! It is a class where everyone rotates on a wheel and gets a chance to learn how to throw. We also fire up the raku kiln. You can bring any food or drinks that you like and we can light the grill and fire pit. We have had nothing but rave reviews about our parties.
Raku firing – Decorate your own ceramics and in 2 hours, you can take it home with you. Its great for presents and is a blast to do. The ceramics you purchase from the us is also hand made from professional potters that teach at the school. (Vases, plates, and Raku pieces can be purchased separably from us or you can bring your own)
Ceramics Courses – Taught by professional potters and ceramicists both on the wheel and hand building. ALL of the teachers have world experience teaching and selling Ceramics. Christian Moffat has been selling and teaching for a living for 13 years.
We are a dynamic school dedicated to teaching ceramics. The learning curve for our school, since we teach such small classes and have such dedicated teachers, is much much faster than even bigger art schools around. Come check us out and see for yourself!
